Andrew M. Tait

Mr. Tait is a founding Principal of Core Risks Ltd. (CRL). 

Mr. Tait focuses upon the development of Enterprise Risk Management programming from an operational perspective, Supply Chain Risk Management, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery program implementation. Additionally, Mr. Tait manages CRL's integrated tools and information system resources to support Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery and supply chain risk management solutions.  He also coordinates CRL's IT strategy consulting services, security assessment audits (for both data security and privacy), IT/IS system implementation support, and numerous other related services.

Prior to joining CRL, Mr. Tait was the Vice President of Insurance for Sanofi Aventis, based in Paris, France.  In addition to his responsibilities for overseeing the Company's global insurance program, Mr. Tait was also responsible for developing and managing the Company's Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity initiatives, (serving as the Corporate Project Manager for the Enterprise Risk Management program which was initiated within Aventis prior to its merger with Sanofi) and Aventis' award winning supply chain risk management program.  

Before joining Sanofi Aventis, and its predecessors Aventis and Rhone Poulenc Rorer, Mr. Tait served as a  property insurance broker, property loss control engineer, and business continuity consultant for Johnson & Higgins and Marsh. Prior to joining J&H and Marsh, Mr. Tait was a loss control engineer for Factory Mutual Engineering Association.

Mr. Tait has extensive experience and can support client initiatives in the following areas:

• Development and review of corporate insurance and risk management programs;
• Development and strategic implementation of world-wide and local Enterprise Risk Management
• Business Continuity and Complex Supply Chain infrastructure assessments and solutions;
• International Risk Management Solutions and Risk Financing program development.

Mr. Tait is bi-lingual in French and English and has previously worked for several years in Europe, allowing him to provide his clients with  practical insights into the development of risk solutions and programs on a global scale. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and his Masters Degree in Business Administration (with a focus on international finance) from Villanova University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Fire Protection.  Mr. Tait is a frequent speaker on ERM, Supply Chain and other Risk Management topics.
